Activities at Seaside Field Day is a day in May where all the kids and teachers come and play games, and have some fresh air. They play games such as balloon toss, sack racing, the hula hoop toss, and much more. There used to be a Burger King Whopper Hopper for kids to jump in.
Our fifth graders may participate in a Junior Lifeguard Program. This program teaches students basic first aid, drowning prevention techniques, how to perform CPR, and other water safety skills. The program has been recognized nationally and is a product of the school and community working closely together.
Selected fifth graders participate in a Junior Safety Program. Students are selected based on their leadership skills and their use of lifeskills and life-long guidelines.
